Description

The CRTtoLCD-71-LP is an extremely flat Full HD flat panel controller (super-low-profile with only 8 mm height) that enables connection of standard sources such as analog RGB, DVI, DisplayPort, composite video, S-video, and component video with TFT-LCD flat panel displays.

With a single +12 to 24V DC power supply, the CRTtoLCD-71-LP generates all required supply voltages and controls the power-on sequences. Dimming of LED or CCFL backlighting is supported and can be flexibly controlled via PWM or absolute voltage levels.

The multi-standard video decoder processes PAL, NTSC, SECAM, and other video formats and supports display resolutions up to WUXGA (1920×1200). Particularly noteworthy is the PiP function (Picture-in-Picture), which enables simultaneous display of two inputs with independent zoom/scaling functionality for main and PiP input.

The controller features powerful software tools, including Panel Editor and Serial API, as well as support for scripts. With its audio inputs and outputs and dual-channel LVDS output, the CRTtoLCD-71-LP offers a versatile solution for various application areas such as point of sale (check-in terminals), public displays, panel PCs, industrial monitors, smart displays, rugged displays for transportation, as well as gaming machines and lottery systems.
