Description

The CRTtoLCD-53 is an LCD controller that connects standard analog RGB (VGA), HDMI, and DisplayPort sources with an LCD display. With a single power supply from 5V to 32V, the CRTtoLCD-53 generates all required supply voltages, display power-on sequences, as well as power and control signals for the backlight driver. PWM and voltage-controlled dimming are supported.

The line-level stereo sound output can be used to drive active speaker systems. The stereo audio source can be selected via analog input (line level), DisplayPort, or HDMI.

With the powerful software tool Configuration Workbench, display timing, mode tables, and various configurations such as OSD menu customization or implementation of a custom logo can be easily implemented.

The CRTtoLCD-53 features an integrated scripting engine that extends functionality without firmware changes. It also enables access to GPIOs, ADCs, and I²C for external sensor modules. SmartISP allows firmware updates via the digital video input (DisplayPort or HDMI).

All setting options and parameters are accessible via scripting, Serial API, and DDC/CI. With its compact form factor of 125 x 90 x 16.3 mm, the CRTtoLCD-53 is ideally suited for applications in point-of-sale terminals, industrial automation, test & measurement, and gaming machines.
